Hello lovelies! Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday, I popped into town today to buy a new highlighter, mascara and to pick up the L’Oreal Paris Smooth Sugar Glow Grapeseed Face and Lip Scrub, I am so excited to finally try it tonight after reading many positive reviews (of course, I’ll let you know how I get on!).

On that note, over the past few weeks I have been trying out the ever so popular L’Oreal Pure Clay Purity Face Mask and have nothing but good things to say about this product!

Loreal Face Mask

Nothing feels better than taking off my make-up after a long day, putting on my pink fluffy dressing gown, lighting a candle, putting on a face mask and relaxing with a book.

After looking into the L’Oreal Pure Clay range, I thought the purity mask was more suited to my skin type because it’s states to “work deep into the pores, leaving skin purified and matte-looking, without drying it out.” As someone who suffers with oily skin, I try to go for skincare products that mattify my skin without the dryness, so this sounded like the perfect match and I decided to give it go.

When I first tried this product I was very surprised with how it left my skin feeling, it basically did what it said on the box. As a clay mask, it’s very smooth to apply and really tightens on my skin, but when removed, it left my skin feeling remarkably fresh and cleansed. The eucalyptus scent also reminds me of being at the spa, making the mask very relaxing to use.

When you first apply this to the skin, it’s very cooling and tingles slightly but that is just the mask working it’s magic! I usually leave the mask on for about 15/20 minutes in total until dry before washing it off with a warm damp muslin cloth. I then pat my skin dry with a fresh towel. As my current face mask, I use this about 1/2 times a week to give my skin a full weekly cleanse. As my skin can be fairly unpredictable in terms of spots, I do try to stick to one face mask for a couple of weeks before switching (well, if I can resist).

Close up of Product

Overall, I am so pleased with this product, it leaves my skin feeling so fresh and awake, giving it a clear complexion. I believe that I purchased this when it was one offer, although it only retails for £7.99 and is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this face mask if you’re currently searching for a new one to try!

I hope you enjoyed this review, let me know if you have tried this product in the comments below, I would love to know your thoughts. I’m off now to try out my new L’Oreal Sugar Scrub, pop on this face mask and pour myself a gin and lemonade for a relaxing end to this Sunday evening. Have a great week lovelies!

Love,

Laura
